CodifyMedia is seeking talented, enthusiastic and passionate Full Stack (React.js, Apollo server + GraphQL) Developers to join our offices in Manchester, London and Cambridge.
You’ll be a member of our core development team working alongside other like-minded developers. Primarily building applications in JavaScript. You must have solid knowledge and experience in building scalable Node.js applications. You must be passionate about the product and vision, collaborating with the rest of the team to help build truly innovative products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Responsible for the development of the company and clients applications.
Partner with the product management team and peers to define application roadmap to ensure a scalable and effective application infrastructure.
Work with product owners to ensure that relevant information systems serve the business needs effectively.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of proven experience as Full stack developer
OR
3 years of related experience (2+ years of proven experience as full stack developer is a must)
Preferred requirements:
Understanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, as well as experience with object-oriented languages.
Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts.
Expert in Node.js, Express.js, React.js and Apollo server + GraphQL .
Experience with build tools such as webpack, grunt, gulp, babel etc.
Experience with test frameworks: Mocha, Jest, Nightwatch etc.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and responsive design
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design etc.
Familiarity with building and using REST APIs
Ability to discuss and debate all options to achieve the optimal solution.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ideal Personal Characteristics:
Excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Hands-on experience with all aspects of the project lifecycle, including detailed deliverable development as well as team management at all levels.
